Since that I've been stuck on trying to figure out how a character who essentially has fur can have visible tattoos. I tried figuring that as trivial and pushing it aside but it keeps bugging me so I'm working on figuring that out and hoping that just maybe it would help with the drawing. Current idea is having them have short and thin hair over their entire bodies minus the hair on their heads and whatnot. They'd have more hair than hairless species, but not so much that all that would be logically visible would be their natural skin patterns. I'm just not entirely sure how satisfied I am with that. It's growing on me more and more and as of yet is all that I really have without making them like humans in that respect.
At Wal-Mart a character idea suddenly clicked in my head upon seeing boxes for eye patches. Just recently a number of new ideas to go along with that came into my head all at once. He's not a pirate, but he might end up being a bartender. He'd probably be more a "supporting role" of sorts. I'm thinking he plays a lot of poker (for money, of course), smokes cigars, and occasionally intervenes in bar fights when he sees fit (i.e. when they happen). Odds are his eye patch would be a result from a bar fight gone wrong -- maybe taking a pool stick to the eye or something. I don't know. There's still a lot of work to be put into him.

I've wanted to meet you forever. >: So now I am. HELLO I am Tod.
